DATA PROTECTION COMPLAINTS
We take your privacy and our responsibility to protect your information seriously. If you have a preferred outcome when making your complaint, please let us know, as this will help us in investigating your complaint more efficiently.
You are entitled to make a complaint directly to us if you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data in any way, for instance if you have been impacted by a personal data breach. Please submit the details of your complaint to us using this form. Alternatively, you may send your complaint by post to the following address:

We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days of receipt and respond to your complaint as soon as possible but not later than 3 months from receipt unless it is very complex in which case we will let you know.
If more information is required, we will request it from you without delay.We commit to making the appropriate level of inquiries when handling the complaint. This may include:
- – Investigating the relevant facts
- – Speaking with relevant members of staff
- – Comparing the information on file with your complaint
- – Referring to the organisation’s terms, policies and standards
We will keep you informed as the investigation progresses and you are invited to submit any further information and/or questions you may have while we are looking into your complaint. You can contact the DPO once the investigation is underway using the email address privacy@hachette.co.uk.
