Ann Cleeves

Ann Cleeves is the best-selling author of the Vera and Shetland series; both have been adapted as successful television dramas. The first of the Shetland novels, Raven Black, won the CWA Gold Dagger, and her earlier work includes a series with an ornithological background and another featuring Inspector Stephen Ramsay.
